Anniversary Projects
JPDA, whose 50th birthday is in 2010, launched anniversary projects every five or ten years, with substantial preparation.
Considering the importance of the 50th anniversary, each committee is carefully considering its plans and JPDA members are likewise preparing.

・45th Anniversary
A symposium titled "NEXT- something creatively linking current design to next generation design" and a party were held. |

National Conference / General Meeting / Commemorative Lecture
Busy designers and those who live in local regions have few chances to meet with other designers. Thus, JPDA provides members with various opportunities, where they get to know each other, exchange information, ask senior members for advice and establish a personal network. JPDA arranges commemorative lectures in general meetings and plans symposiums, lectures and visitations related to the host city, where the national conference is held.
"Package Design Achievement Award" and "JPDA Contribution Award" Presentations
Aiming to praise members for their activities and actual design results, JPDA biennially presents the "Package Design Achievement Award" and the "JPDA Contribution Award" at their general meetings. The "Package Design Achievement Award" is given to members who are recognized for their substantial contribution to the development of the package design world. The "JPDA Contribution Award" is given to members who are respected for their great efforts and results through JPDA's activities. |
