The activities of JPDA are overseen by the board of directors who are elected at the general meeting, and conducted by several committees which are formed by interested members. There are four committees that plan and conduct activities relating to publication, publicity, international exchange and education. In addition, the national committee is in charge of nationwide projects, three local committees promote events depending in each region and the General Affairs Committee administers JPDA with secretariat.
