The award ceremony for The Japan Package Design Awards 2023 was held on Thursday, February 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at the TOKYO GARDEN PALACE (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo).
Inviting the winners, Mr. OGAWA Makoto, JPDA President, presented Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards in each category.
The four Special Judge’s Awards were presented by Ms. SAGO Hitomi, Mr. TACHIKAWA Eisuke, Ms. TSUJI Asako (Due to her inability to attend, Mr. NOBUTO Yoji, the chief judge, presented the award on her behalf.) and Mr. HANAZAWA Yuji with their respective comments.
The 2023 Grand Prix winning work was SHISEIDO “BAUM”.

After the Grand Prix Award was presented, Mr. Ogawa led a talk session with the Grand Prix winners: Ms. YAMADA Midori (SHISEIDO CREATIVE Co., Ltd.) and Mr. KUMANO Wataru (design office kumano), talking about the development process of their design work.
